Work you'll do As a Senior Consultant on the Healthcare Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading Epic Patient Access implementation activities across design, build, testing, and activation phases.
You will:
- Lead functional design and configuration for Epic Patient Access modules, serving as the escalation point and design authority across Epic Cadence (Scheduling), Epic ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer), and Epic Prelude (Registration).
- Align Patient Access workflows to downstream revenue cycle processes, including eligibility and benefits, authorizations, charge capture, claim edits, and billing handoffs to Epic Resolute Hospital/Professional Billing.
- Coordinate and execute integrated testing, cutover, and go-live readiness across the revenue cycle, validating clean claim rate, registration accuracy, authorization completion, and reduction in avoidable write-offs.
- Partner with Patient Access, revenue cycle operations, Health Information Management (HIM)/coding, and Patient Financial Services (PFS) leadership to translate requirements into Epic design, manage decision logs and change control, and document build specifications and test scripts.
- Lead workstreams and mentor client and project team members; manage status, risks, and issues; and support stabilization and optimization to improve cash acceleration and days in accounts receivable (AR).
