Enter and update patient information accurately in healthcare databases while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. Verify insurance coverage, assist with third-party billing processes, and facilitate the collection of necessary documentation for claims processing. Assist patients with understanding health insurance policies, medical terminology, and revenue cycle management procedures to ensure seamless access to care. Support internal teams by managing schedules, tracking appointment statuses, and communicating updates promptly. Handle inquiries related to medical billing, insurance claims, and provider availability with professionalism and clarity. Requirements Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings or managed care organizations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes. Strong knowledge of health insurance policies, third-party billing procedures, and revenue cycle management processes. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and data entry best practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and written correspondence. Ability to manage schedules efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare operations. Exceptional typing skills for accurate data entry and record keeping.
