Quick start upon hire preferred We are seeking a Clinical Informatics Consultant with strong Labor & Delivery workflow experience to support a high-priority clinical systems and documentation optimization initiative within a hospital environment in Baltimore, MD. This role will focus heavily on:- GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN)
- Meditech Client Server
- Labor & Delivery workflows
- Clinical workflow optimization
- Interoperability / data flow analysis
- eCQM-related process improvement initiatives The ideal candidate will bring a combination of Clinical Informatics expertise and technical systems understanding with the ability to evaluate workflows, identify documentation inefficiencies, and collaborate closely with clinical and technical stakeholders in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and optimize Labor & Delivery documentation workflows
- Analyze workflow inefficiencies and duplicate documentation challenges
- Support and enhance GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN) workflows
- Evaluate interoperability and data flow between systems
- Coordinate testing and workflow validation activities
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
- Support eCQM and regulatory reporting initiatives
Required Experience:
- Strong Labor & Delivery clinical workflow experience
- GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN) experience
- Meditech Client Server experience
- Clinical Informatics / workflow analysis background
- Healthcare interoperability / data flow understanding
- Acute care clinical systems experience
Preferred:
- e
CQM / PC-02
experience- Medisolv exposure
- Iatric interface or scripting exposure
- RN or Nursing Informatics background with technical systems understanding ?
