Primary Function:
  • Provides institutional expertise in the delivery of clinical care as it relates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program
  • Evaluates and promotes new technologies with a focus on streamlining clinical documentation and assessment processes.
  • Participates in the development and advanced implementation support of automated clinical processes.
  • Provides at the elbow and other end user support for all end users of the EHR.
Position Details:

This position provides regular onsite/in-person support to Mercy Clinics Southeast (Cape Girardeau, MO) and Mercy Clinics Stoddard (Dexter, MO). Occasional out of town travel is required.

Role:
  • The Informatics' Analyst will split their time onsite and remote.

  • Provides institutional expertise in the delivery of clinical care as it relates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program.

Evaluates and promotes new technologies with a focus on streamlining clinical documentation and assessment processes.

Participates in the development and advanced implementation support of automated clinical processes.

Provides at the elbow and other end user support for all end users of the EHR. Qualification(s):

Education:

Associate's degree in healthcare field, specialized training or equivalent work experience with electronic health record.

Experience:

Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience.

Preferred previous experience with Epic EHR. Preferred experience with data analytics, data management associated with systems evaluation, preferred experience in medical policy documentation, experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment. Experience with business applications.
