EHR SUPPORT ANALYST
The EHR Support Analyst (ESA) will help to support all end-users of the Electronic Health Record (EHR), Practice Management System (PM) and other associated clinical health information technology (HIT) systems, act as acts as the liaison between WNCCHS end users and the vendor. The EHR Support Analyst (ESA) aids with ongoing implementation and optimization of the EHR, PM, and other systems. They are also responsible for supporting the efficient and effective development, maintenance, and delivery of content specific EHR training programs. The ESA works within a participative culture to ensure the systems process is aligned with the organization's strategic goals. They work collaboratively and efficiently while ensuring timely follow up and communication to both internal and external customers. The position requires superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to respond succinctly and efficiently to user training and support requests. This position may perform duties as assigned related to all aspects of the organization's health information technology functions.Key skills:
Able to communicate effectively. Interacts in a friendly, professional manner with a wide range of staff, physicians and public. Plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure is essential.Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in an electronic health record in an ambulatory health care setting; one year of Epic EHR experience preferred.Strongly Desired:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with EPIC Ambulatory EHR/PM software application. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with On-Base Document Imaging system and/or RightFax Demonstrated knowledge and experience with HL7 Interfaces, Crystal Report Writing Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Ambulatory Clinic operational workflows Demonstrated experience with implementing and training of an EHR system. Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment Experience administering ticket/tracking system Jira service desk and/orKace Education :
Associate degree in a health care field preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Certification(s)/Licensure:
Current, unencumbered Driver's License Current EPIC certification required OR certification complete within one year of placement.WORK/ BENEFITS
