Job Description

We are currently seeking a Sample Management Coordinator I to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Sample Management Coordinator I at ICON, you will be responsible for the proper handling, tracking, and documentation of clinical trial samples. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely management of biological samples, contributing to the success of clinical research studies.
What You Will Be Doing:
Coordinating the receipt, tracking, and storage of clinical trial samples in compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements. Maintaining accurate documentation of sample collection, storage conditions, and chain of custody records. Ensuring proper labeling and inventory of biological samples, and supporting the timely distribution of samples to laboratories for analysis. Collaborating with clinical teams, laboratory personnel, and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient sample management. Assisting with sample-related queries and resolving discrepancies in sample tracking or documentation. Contributing to process improvement initiatives in sample management and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, laboratory science, or a related field. Experience in sample handling, logistics, or laboratory coordination, preferably within clinical trials or healthcare. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sample management tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with sample tracking systems, laboratory protocols, and regulatory guidelines is an advantage. Are you a current ICON Employee?
