This position requires a strong understanding of billing processes and insurance contracted rates to ensure accurate payment management.
Essential Functions:
Posting personal payments; checks, lock box& credit cards Posting insurance payments; checks & ERA Verify correct payment based on contracted rates Send denial information to AR specialists Experience Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred, with a background in medical billing practices. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential; experience with Medent is a plus Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payment information. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff members and management.
