Job Description

POSITION INFORMATION
Position summary: The Senior Specialist is responsible for configuration, maintenance, optimization, and support of the organization's EMR and related clinical applications. Serves as SME, liaison, and escalation point to ensure efficient, compliant workflows. Partners with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to translate needs into system functionality, supporting enterprise clinical systems, workflow optimization, and adoption.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Required length and type of experience: 8-10 years of experience working with EMR/EHR systems in a clinical or healthcare IT setting. Prior experience with Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) or similar enterprise EMR platforms. In-depth knowledge of clinical workflows systems in a clinical or healthcare IT setting. Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or healthcare data standards. SQL/reporting tools Required licensure, certification or registry: Relevant certifications (RHIA, CPHIMS)
