This is a fully remote 4+ month contract opportunity.
Pay rate range:
$70.00

00 per hour (W2) This is a contract opportunity supporting a collaborative team responsible for Epic Willow production support, application maintenance, enhancements, and project work. The primary responsibility of this role is Epic Willow Inpatient orders build, with a strong focus on medication orders, order sets, ERX, NDCs, reference lists, and other Willow Inpatient configuration activities. In addition to build work, the analyst will provide production support, resolve break/fix issues, collaborate with clinical stakeholders to gather requirements, and assist with ongoing enhancement initiatives. This position offers a standard Monday-Friday schedule with no evening, weekend, or on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities Design, build, configure, and maintain Epic Willow Inpatient functionality with a primary focus on medication orders and order sets. Build and maintain ERX records, NDCs, reference lists, alerts, and other Willow Inpatient configuration components. Gather requirements from pharmacy and clinical stakeholders and translate business needs into Epic build solutions. Resolve production issues through break/fix support, troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance. Support enhancement requests, application optimization, and project-related build activities. Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of new functionality and system updates. Collaborate with Epic application teams, pharmacy staff, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions. Assist with daytime ticket triage and support activities as needed. Required Qualifications Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification 2+ years of hands-on Epic Willow Inpatient build experience (4+ years preferred) Experience building and supporting: Inpatient medication orders Order Sets ERX NDC records Reference Lists Experience with: Production support Break/fix troubleshooting System enhancements and maintenance Customer requirements gathering and solution design Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Availability to work Central Time business hours. Preferred Qualifications EpicCare Inpatient experience. Epic Willow Ambulatory or Willow Inventory experience. Pharmacy Technician certification or pharmacy operations experience.
