Contract Position Summary We are seeking a Sr. Epic Dorothy Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert across Epic clinical systems, with a focus on Dorothy and Comfort . This role will lead system design, clinical workflow optimization, and cross-functional integration , driving strategic initiatives that enhance respiratory therapy workflows, interdisciplinary documentation, and overall clinical care delivery . This is a high-impact role partnering with clinical leadership, operations, and IT governance to deliver scalable improvements that support patient safety, clinician efficiency, and enterprise performance . Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Governance Lead the Epic Dorothy roadmap aligned with clinical strategy and regulatory requirements Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical leadership on optimization opportunities and system capabilities Participate in governance committees, change control boards, and design groups System Design & Architecture Architect and deliver complex Dorothy workflows, documentation tools, orders, and decision support Lead large-scale build initiatives , upgrades, and enterprise-wide optimization efforts Evaluate and implement new Epic features and Foundation updates Clinical Workflow Optimization Conduct current-state assessments and workflow redesigns across respiratory therapy and inpatient care Identify inefficiencies and translate them into scalable system improvements Drive interdisciplinary alignment across clinical areas Issue Resolution & Support Act as the highest escalation point for Dorothy-related issues Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions Maintain detailed build, testing, and support documentation Testing & Quality Assurance Oversee testing strategy for upgrades and enhancements Ensure cross-module validation with ClinDoc, Orders, Beacon, Stork, and related applications Establish and enforce quality standards Required Qualifications Epic Dorothy AND Comfort (Clinical) certifications - REQUIRED 5-7+ years of Epic clinical application experience , with strong Dorothy focus Deep understanding of respiratory therapy, inpatient workflows, and interdisciplinary documentation Proven experience leading large-scale Epic implementations or optimization efforts Strong analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills Ability to influence and collaborate with clinical and operational leaders Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
