Healthcare IT / Epic Patient Access Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Epic Prelude / Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) Analyst to support a high volume of service requests and ongoing optimization efforts through the end of 2026. This role will focus heavily on Epic Prelude and RTE build, supporting patient access workflows that drive registration accuracy, eligibility verification, and front-end revenue cycle performance. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with both Prelude and RTE configuration, along with a strong understanding of patient access operations and Epic build best practices. Key Responsibilities + Support ongoing Epic Prelude and Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) service requests and enhancement initiatives. + Design, build, test, and maintain RTE workflows and configurations. + Configure and optimize Prelude functionality to support patient registration and scheduling processes. + Collaborate with operational stakeholders to identify workflow improvements and resolve issues. + Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities. + Provide recommendations to improve eligibility verification accuracy and overall patient access efficiency. + Ensure solutions align with organizational standards and Epic best practices. Required Qualifications + Epic Prelude Certification required. + Minimum 5 years of Epic Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) build experience. + Minimum 5 years of Epic Prelude build experience. + Strong knowledge of patient access, registration, and eligibility verification workflows. + Experience supporting service requests, enhancements, and operational optimization efforts. + Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications + Benefit Engine experience. + Experience supporting large healthcare organizations and complex patient access environments. + Familiarity with revenue cycle and downstream financial impacts related to registration and eligibility workflows. Ideal Candidate The ideal consultant is a highly experienced Epic Prelude/RTE analyst who can quickly contribute to a fast-paced environment with a significant volume of support requests. They possess strong technical build skills, understand patient access operations, and can partner effectively with both business and technical teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
