Full Job Description Job Purpose:
As a Referral Coordinator you will work closely with healthcare practice staff to ensure a seamless referral process, maintain accurate patient records, and meticulously document patient activities into our medical records system. Your contributions will be essential in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team's mission.
What You Will Do:
Liaison Role:
Serve as the primary contact between Denova staff and patients, fostering productive and collaborative relationships aligned with the agency's goals and core values.
Voicemail Management:
Check voicemails every two hours and ensure callbacks are completed within 48 hours.
Referral Coordination:
Initiate referrals to specialists within 48 hours of receiving a request from a medical provider.
Documentation:
Attach all scanning to the patient's chart within 72 hours. Document every patient interaction in the appropriate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system within 24 hours.
Insurance Verification:
Maintain consistent communication with patients and clinic staff about updates, changes, and verified coverage. Other duties as assigned.
What We Need From You:
Experience:
A minimum of one year of customer service experience is desired. A general understanding of insurance plans and products is beneficial.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Additional education or relevant work experience is valued.
Certifications and Compliance:
Required to have Arizona Fingerprint Clearance. Adherence to HIPAA regulations is essential.
Skills:
Proficiency in electronic clinical documentation and scheduling systems is required.
Language Skills:
Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
Driving Requirements:
Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance meeting or exceeding minimum state requirements.

Join us for dynamic workdays with a hybrid schedule, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
