Clinical Informatics Support Specialist CommonSpirit Health - 3.6 West Valley City, UT Job Details Full-time $28.10 - $46.37 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications IT experience within healthcare Associate's degree Full Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinical Informaticist, you will lead and support the planning, implementation, and sustainment of clinical health information technology (HIT) with clinical understanding. Every day you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure HIT strategies meet patient care needs, provide input on system impacts, and guide ongoing strategy for system optimization and quality reporting. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a deep understanding of clinical processes and HIT, coupled with strong organizational and communication skills across all levels of healthcare interaction. Supports and optimizes clinical information system capabilities to meet the organization's goals of quality patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Participates in workflow design and development; project implementation; documentation; and end user training. Understands and utilizes evidence-based practice in initial and ongoing EHR training and competency to end users Contributes to training curricula, communication and change management for technology changes, upgrades, and downtimes to customers Responsible for problem solving, assessing processes and issues, and collaborating with other staff and physicians to develop solutions resulting in efficient and functional workflows for end users of our software applications. Participates in projects, meetings, and workshops. Gather information from end users as needed. Escalates appropriately. Prioritizes responsibilities and organizes workload to ensure that work is successfully completed within deadlines. This position will cover the Utah Ambulatory Market, ranging from Layton to Lehi.
