Full Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized QC Lab Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role in supporting the QC department by performing analytical work, formulation testing, and ensuring all results and raw data are properly reported/documented. This position requires a strong understanding of analytical chemistry and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the Quality Control (QC) lab with 2-3 people Test/assess/analyze production samples, raw materials and finished products by established analytical methods Perform analytical method validation and formulation stability studies Investigate test results that are out of specification Prepare analysis reports/CoAs as needed Report and communicate results with the R D team Prepare product samples for the field teams. Share general responsibility including housekeeping, equipment maintenance/calibration, and general lab support Coordinate product formulation scaling with the production team
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or PhD degree in science (chemistry preferred) Knowledge of analytical instrumentation such as
HPLC, GC, ICP-OES
Strong sense of urgency - ability to complete projects under tight deadlines Interest and desire to learn new instrumentation and laboratory/analytical techniques Ability to work effectively in a team environment Must have strong communication and computer skills Proficient in Mandarin is preferred
