A Brief Overview In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and growing the Stanford Emerging Apps Lab (SEAL), focused on sourcing, valuing, and accelerating emerging digital ideas and technologies from the Stanford School of Medicine and external partners into the Stanford Health Care delivery systems. This role serves as the product owner for one or more digital health products and services and ensure the product management necessary to integrate these products into the Stanford Health Care delivery system. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior healthcare product management experience. Locations Stanford Health Care What you will do Prioritizes new digital health initiatives for the SEAL team to pursue based on clearly defined value creation metrics for Stanford Medicine Defines a product roadmap and prioritizes new feature development working in collaboration with software Engineering, data science, and clinical informatics. Ensures the successful integration of new digital health innovations with SHC operations and technology systems working collaboratively with Operations and IT. Lead weekly product meetings with engineering team and clinical informatics team to track, monitor, unblock, and prioritize items Maintains the external facing web page that represents the work of SEAL to the internal Stanford Medicine and external community Introduces new and innovative products and offerings in Digital Health, analyzing program risks for each new product offering. Coordinate with service lines and other consulted parties to identify clinical and business workflow/product design requirements Develop and design wireframes and mock-ups; conduct product design sessions using LEAN/Six Sigma or design thinking methodologies for product/service use cases and workflows Assess the problem and scope; design, implement, and scale the digital health solution Create timelines and roadmaps for developing products that align with business priorities Build product strategy and vision for new products and/or drive growth for mature products, such as increase user volumes through feature product enhancements and marketing and operational initiatives Prep and demo the product value prop and new features/ideas to stakeholders Conduct competitive analysis to inform product strategy/design Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or equivalent experience. Experience Qualifications Five (5) years of directly related work experience in product management showing a track record of bringing to market new and innovative customer facing applications and digital experiences. Background or relevant experience in healthcare IT, clinical workflows, or biomedical research is highly valued Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of product management Significant experience collaborating with data science and software engineering to introduce new products to market and define product roadmaps in the healthcare space. Significant experience executing multiple concurrent high impact initiatives with aggressive timeframes in a complex matrixed organization. Expertise translating customer needs into compelling digital experiences Experience growing revenue from technology products or technology enabled services inside or outside a health system. Strong influencing skills and organizational savvy to execute in a complex matrixed environment and integrate technology into operations Track record of developing, motivating, and retaining a strong team by demonstrating and setting high standards of behavior and performance Understanding of the complexity of the current US healthcare environment with a strong vision for digital technology's role in its future transformation Motivated self-starter who can work collaboratively and independently to deliver demanding assignments. Base Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $70.52 - $93.43 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
