Our comprehensive range of services includes laboratory consulting, real estate services, instrumentation repair and maintenance, full asset management, and more—covering the entire spectrum of life sciences facilities. With expertise across various life sciences categories, CBRE is a leader in managing highly-regulated spaces within the industry. As Field Service Supervisor, you will supervise the day-to-day service solutions of a team of experienced Field Service Engineers and/or sub-contractors to ensure services are delivered in a safe, compliant, and timely manner within budget.
What You'll Do:
Supervise, plan, direct, and schedule day-to-day and long-range activities for defined Pharma Services scope, and ensure all programs and procedures of the Pharma Services staff are being properly implemented. Review work to ensure compliance with performance, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements, as well as with all company policies, standards, and procedures. Review and update LIS equipment, maintenance and calibration procedures, and LTS (Laboratory Technical Services) procedures. Process performance metrics; track, analyze, and report performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction. Take corrective action to bring about required change and ensure contract requirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards. Manage contractor specifications, problems/issues, performance, and administration. Ensure supply of spare parts and consumables for in-scope Pharma Services. Perform other duties as assigned. Provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommend staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepare and deliver performance appraisal for staff. Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering is preferred. Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training. Associates degree preferred in scientific field of study preferred or equivalent related work experience. Five years relevant field experience in laboratory and / or manufacturing pharmaceutical or equivalent regulated environments required. Knowledge of analytical instrument maintenance and / or laboratory technical services. applicable regulatory guidelines and audit experience. Previous supervisory experience is required. Why CBRE? The minimum salary for the Field Service Supervisor position is $105,000 annually and the maximum salary is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
