Project Manager/Client Services Manager - Environmental Laboratory

JOB SUMMARY
Laboratory Project Manager/Client Services Manager
  • Highly competitive salary TBD based on experience.
  • Green Analytical is a full-service environmental laboratory located in Durango, Colorado.
We provide analytical services to energy companies and municipalities from the Rocky Mountains to the Permian Basin of West Texas and eastern New Mexico. We're actively seeking an experienced candidate to fill the position of Laboratory Project Manager. The essential functions of the position include managing customer projects, overseeing Client Services Department, and producing detailed quotations and final data reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage Client Services department, including sample receiving and login.
  • Fulfill role as first point of contact for all customer service-related functions.
  • Generate quotes within LIMS.
  • Coordinate sample container requirements and shipping.
  • Oversee sample receipt, log-in, and work order data entry within LIMS.
  • Manage all subcontract laboratory logistics.
  • Communicate and understand project details such as pricing, analysis packages, RLs, and MCLs.
  • Administer purchase orders and receipt of laboratory supplies.
  • Report final data and produce EDD's (electronic data deliverables). Requirements and Qualifications
  • 10 years of environmental laboratory experience, with 5 years minimum Project Manager experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree (Required)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Professional communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience with various certifications, such as NELAP, State DW or other laboratory compliance certifications is required.
  • Previous management experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in EPA methods, laboratory holding times and bottle requirements are required.
Some acceptable substitutions for experience may be considered, ie. relevant environmental consulting experience, laboratory quality management experience, etc. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
