Weems Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Laboratory Technologist Manager to oversee the daily operations of the clinical laboratory. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely laboratory testing while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, managing laboratory personnel, and supporting high-quality patient care. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory operations. Manage laboratory staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards. Perform and oversee laboratory testing, analysis, and reporting of patient results. Maintain quality assurance and quality control programs. Assist with departmental budgeting, inventory management, and operational planning. Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed. Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality laboratory services. Monitor laboratory equipment and coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Current ASCP Certification and possession of a Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License . Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting. Proficiency in laboratory testing, specimen analysis, and result reporting. Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
