Job Description
Department Laboratory Job Summary This leader has accountability and oversight, and supervises the daily activities of the department, shift or area. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring individual and team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. Required Qualifications
- Require a Bachelor's degree in a Health Science program or Medical Technology.
- Require to be qualified as an ASCP, AMT, NCA, or equivalent licensure.
- Require a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a professional capacity in a clinical laboratory setting. Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer previous supervisory experience.
- Prefer the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
- Prefer excellent communicator and listening skills.
- Prefer licensure as a Supervisor, under Chapter 483, Part IV, Florida Statute 61F-5.
