Assistant Laboratory Director Job Details:

Full-time, Temporary-to-Permanent employment opportunity Initial travel duration: 13-weeks Great laboratory leadership and administration team! Assistant Laboratory Director collaborates with the Director to plan, organize, and oversee Laboratory Services operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations Monitors Point-of-Care (POC) testing activities, prepares compliance reports, and provides follow-up and support to nursing departments to ensure adherence to established standards and requirements Develops and maintains staff schedules and adjusts staffing assignments as needed to meet workload demands and operational needs Assists with departmental in-service education, staff training, and ongoing professional development initiatives

Assistant Laboratory Director Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor s degree at minimum Must have

ASCP, AMT, AAB

certification Expertise is all clinical areas with supervisor licensures (Microbiology, Serology/Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology and Immunohematology) Must have at least 1 year of laboratory leadership experience
