JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for daily operations and workflow for all procedures and activities in the Cardiovascular and Endovascular department. Provides patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification, registration, and/or assessed competencies. Practice will be in accordance with laws and regulations and will adhere to established policies, procedures and practice guidelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES
Assists the invasive cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon in the performance of invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Shares responsibility in the acquisition and processing of imaging and the efficient operation of equipment in the interventional and endovascular labs. Participates in hemodynamic monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties. Directs and guides work flow throughout the department. Oversees payroll and time and attendance for assigned staff, including monitoring overtime and productivity. Collaboration and teamwork with personnel to provide high quality patient care. Organizes time, inventory, staffing schedule and equipment efficiently and effectively. Participates in continuous quality improvement teams and activities. Participates in supporting the organizations vision, mission and values and adheres to Standards of Behavior. Maintain all CEU's required for certification and or licensure. Performs other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Registered Radiologic Technologist or Registered Nurse with BSN. Registered in Cardiovascular/Interventional Technology (preferred).
ACLS/BCLS
certified. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in related fields or former training preferred. Supervisory experience desirable.
