Responsibilities The Support Services supervisor is responsible for designing and managing the work activities related to specimen collection, processing and/or customer service and related clerical responsibilities. Organizes plans and directs operational processes, staff scheduling, workflow, human resource issues, staff development, monitors resources, and productivity for all lab support staff including specimen registration, test ordering, collection, labeling, receipt, processing, delivery and archiving. Oversees the performance and quality improvement initiatives for areas of responsibility. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree from a recognized college or university. Required or In Lieu of degree Seven (7) years of healthcare experience in a laboratory/Hospital setting Required Work Experience 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting Required or In lieu of degree Seven (7) years of healthcare experience in a laboratory/Hospital setting Required Licenses and Certifications MLS•Medical Lab Scientist (Formally MT Certification) Preferred or MTA•Medical Technologist Certification Preferred or CPT•
Phlebotomy Technician Certification Preferred Business Unit :
