Full Job Description Role:

Laboratory Supervisor overseeing daily lab operations, staff supervision, instrument implementation, and compliance with regulatory standards such as GDCH, CAP, CLIA, OSHA, FDA, and TJC.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage laboratory personnel, ensure accurate and timely reporting of tests to support patient care. Develop and implement training programs for new staff and maintain adherence to standard operating procedures. Perform routine laboratory duties to validate results and ensure quality performance. Evaluate new instrumentation and procedures to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Handle administrative tasks including payroll, scheduling, supply ordering, and inventory management. Collaborate with the lab manager to address complaints and monitor testing protocols. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field; Master's preferred. Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience. Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required upon hire. Strong leadership, technical, and regulatory knowledge.
