The Lockheed Martin Space Metrology has a great opportunity for a Metrology Associate Manager in the Kings Bay, Georgia location in support of the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. In this role you will manage the daily calibration/production efforts for the Technical Services Building, provide guidance and support to subordinates, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as needed to achieve collective goals.
Responsibilities will also include:
- Coordinating subordinate employee training, performance assessment, work assignment, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Production management, metrics development/tracking, and leading process improvement efforts.
- Concern and problem resolution with calibration laboratory internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Previous experience managing calibration facility certified to NAVSEA requirements and/or accredited to
ISO/IEC 17025.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. ## Desired Skills Desired skills:
- 5+ years leadership experience with medium to large groups of hourly and/or non-exempt personnel.
- 5+ years managing a calibration laboratory;
NAVAIR/NAVSEA
management experience is a plus.- Proven ability to guide/train technicians in multiple disciplines including dimensional/length, temperature, mass, torque, and general electronics.
- Proven analytical skills, metrics, cost for lab and ability to operate/track within budget.
PMEL/TMDE
education background or related military training experiencePay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
