- Job Description
- _Do you have a passion for healthcare and a heart of service? Look no further than Saint Luke's!_
- Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our comprehensive laboratory operations under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.
+ M-F 0600-1430 (flexible and can vary upon staffing needs) May be required to work night shift or weekend shift to maintain minimum staffing levels.
+ Oversees daily operations.
+ Establishes and monitors key metrics for accurate and timely work of staff.
+ Makes operational decisions to facilitate optimal workflow and patient care services.
+ Serve as subject matter expert for clinical laboratory analysis and instrument operation.
+ Hires, trains and supervises staff.
+ Manages scheduling and timekeeping for staff.
+ Evaluates staff performance.
+ Maintains strong technical skills for area of oversight.
+ Associate's degree required
+ Phlebotomy certification is required within 6 months. + 2-4 years of experience preferred

- Applicable Experience: 2 years Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) - American Society for Clinical Pathology Associate Degree
