Summary This is for the second shift supervisor position.
Job Description:
Supervisor - Lab Full-time, second shift (On very rare occasions, this position may provide coverage for third shift to support departmental operations)
Job Description:
Provide leadership and oversight to the laboratory team, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of laboratory services. Coordinate workflow, manage staff, oversee quality assurance activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, or higher, in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution. Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent. Two years of relevant experience or training in a clinical laboratory setting in the designated specialty or subspecialty areas of service for which the Supervisor is responsible. Specialty areas include Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology. Two years of leadership experience, to include managing, planning and executing activities of project management, establishing performance metrics, and employee engagement.
