Join the MedSurg Complaint Investigation Site (CIS) department, responsible for monitoring, identifying, investigating and escalating product performance signals for the Endoscopy and Urology & Pelvic Health divisions. This is an exciting opportunity within the Post Market Organization, where we are committed to transforming customer experiences into actionable insights that improve the lives of patients around the globe. In this role, you will collaborate across divisions and functions, including Design Assurance, R D, Supplier Engineering and Manufacturing, to develop a comprehensive understanding of product performance and help improve patient outcomes. This position is located in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Work model, sponsorship, relocation: This is a Defined Term Employment (DTE) role with an anticipated duration of 12-18 months. This role follows an on-site work model requiring employees to work from our Arden Hills, Minnesota, location four days per week.Your responsibilities will include:
Provide team leadership to approximately six quality technicians, championing departmental and cross-functional initiatives while providing direction, coaching, mentoring and guidance on daily work priorities to improve product performance. Oversee the effective execution of complaint management work in progress (WIP), metrics enhancement and reporting, including presentations to director-level and senior leadership. Provide technical guidance to identify and resolve quality issues using engineering essentials and other problem-solving tools and techniques, while expanding the team's effective use of investigative equipment. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement streamlined, robust solutions for CIS processes while meeting organizational and regulatory requirements. Champion continuous improvement and foster the execution of projects within local and Global Post Market organizations. Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. Lead the rollout of new systems to the team and gather feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.Qualifications:
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' quality experience. Minimum of 1 year's supervisory experience.Preferred qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both technical and conversational settings. Strong decision-making and negotiation skills, both independently and within groups. Experience managing multiple projects across multiple organizational disciplines.
