Job Description

Essential Job Duties:
Demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of the need for customer satisfaction, promotes, and provides patient-focused services, and is responsive to the needs of all customers. Helps with complaint resolution, promotes education of self and staff, CQI, promotes multidisciplinary collaboration, and may serve as a community resource and patient resource, assess patient satisfaction. Maintain a professional attitude and behavior. Will perform, in the absence of manager, administrative, leadership, and managerial duties professionally, effectively, and in a timely manner to ensure cost-efficient and safe operation of the service provided while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies including Federal, State, and TJC. Helps formulate unit-specific procedures and job descriptions, professional growth and education, adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, assures staff competencies, participates in technology selection, participates in all committees as assigned, provides direct care as needed. Makes an active contribution to the accomplishment of the strategic plans and goals of the organization. Support mission and vision, take part in both internal and external projects, assure understanding of the organization's goals, and serve as a resource person for nursing and the community. Helps maintain, enhance, and improve the quality of the services within the department and throughout the organization. Helps maintain CQI program for staff reward and recognition programs, ongoing assessment of services, practice standards, maintain quality controls and safety standards.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, preferred in Health Care or Related field An annual influenza vaccination is required. Lake Regional Health System has a competitive Benefits and Compensation package.
