Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Lab Manager to lead our tight-knit laboratory processing team of approximately 5-7 employees.

This is strictly a manufacturing production and Quality Control (QC) position, not a research and development role. You will bring precision, consistency, and calm leadership to the lab, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and every product meets our rigorous biomedical standards. Because our products are collected and processed specifically to order with rapid turnaround times, this role requires an agile leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-throughput manufacturing environment. You will be a "boots-on-the-ground" manager, working closely alongside your team to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), aseptic processing techniques, and daily fulfillment schedules. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Daily Operations Directly manage, train, and mentor a small production team of approximately 5 lab technicians, cultivating a culture of accountability, efficiency, and teamwork. Oversee daily lab schedules and coordinate production workflows to ensure all orders are processed, packaged, and shipped within strict deadline windows. Work collaboratively with other departments to align raw material intake with daily production needs. Manufacturing & Processing Manage the high-volume, aseptic manufacturing and processing of biological products. Oversee standard laboratory production procedures, including filtration, centrifugation, and custom sterile packaging. Actively work daily alongside the team to ensure production targets are met. Quality Control (QC) & Compliance Serve as the primary authority on product quality, ensuring lot consistency and strict adherence to cGMP standards. Oversee and execute routine QC testing protocols before product release. Maintain meticulous documentation, batch records, and Certificates of Analysis (CoA). Ensure the laboratory maintains strict cleanroom protocols, environmental monitoring, and equipment sterilization standards. Facility & Inventory Management Monitor and manage laboratory inventory, ensuring critical supplies, packaging, and processing materials are always in stock. Oversee the routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, minimizing downtime.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biomanufacturing, or a related scientific field.

Experience:

3-5+ years of experience in a laboratory production, biomanufacturing, or clinical processing environment. (Experience with biologicals or cell culture media is highly preferred).

Leadership:

Proven experience supervising, scheduling, and leading a small team in a strict production or manufacturing setting.

Technical Skills:

Strong working knowledge of aseptic technique, cleanroom operations, and standard biological quality control metrics.
