Supervises all technical, quality and business activities of the assigned laboratory department(s) to provide the highest quality testing, customer service and patient care.What You'll Do:
Manages personnel to provide appropriate coverage, training and feedback Demonstrates and maintains clinical laboratory technical knowledge Maintains regulatory requirements Monitors quality assurance and establishes laboratory process and procedures Works independently to present new opportunities, solve problems and resolve personnel challenges Prepares and maintains fiscal budget Works collaboratively to promote teamwork Participates in department meetings, e-mail review and follows HIPAA, safety and accreditation requirements Who You Are /Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required Possess Clinical Laboratory Certification such asASCP, HT, CT.
Three to Five years of experience with increasing responsibility directly related to anatomical pathology laboratory. Familiar with CLIA regulations, quality control evaluation, proficiency testing requirements and safety requirements. Ability to operate various clinical laboratory instruments. Strong written and verbal communications. Demonstrated leadership qualities. Possesses written and verbal skills which clearly communicate testing protocols and training for the staff.Why You'll Love Us:
