Quality Control Lab Supervisor

Reliance Vitamin is seeking a QC Supervisor to oversee daily laboratory operations and help ensure accurate, timely, and reliable testing results. This role is responsible for supervising laboratory staff, maintaining quality control standards, supporting product release timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can lead from the floor, provide real-time guidance to the team, and step into testing activities as needed to support production and shipment schedules. Essential Functions Supervise daily activities of laboratory staff, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and training on all protocols with a focus on UPLC. Maintain a visible, active presence in the laboratory to support the team and address issues in real time Ensure laboratory testing is performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements Develop a strong working knowledge of all QC-related SOPs and execute procedures in a timely manner to avoid delays to production or shipment Participate directly in testing when sample volume requires additional support to maintain release schedules Investigate out-of-specification results independently and provide sound recommendations on next steps or deviations Maintain laboratory quality control programs and support continuous improvement efforts Partner with management to meet targeted release dates and improve laboratory policies, procedures, and workflows Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment and coordinate replenishment as needed Ensure compliance with safety requirements and maintain a safe, professional laboratory environment Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and testing procedure issues Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, test results, and incidents Support internal and external audits and help ensure readiness for regulatory inspections Stay current on laboratory technologies, best practices, and testing procedures Work cross-functionally with the Regulatory team to help create product specifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, or a related scientific field 3 to 5 years of laboratory experience 1 to 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a laboratory environment Must have working knowledge of

UPLC/HPLC

Systems and experience within the last 3 years. Pay:

$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
