This leadership role involves overseeing hematology laboratory operations during overnight hours, ensuring the delivery of precise and reliable test results. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical laboratory experience, strong management capabilities, and a thorough understanding of hematology procedures and compliance standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all hematology laboratory activities during the night shift, including specimen collection, processing, and analysis. Oversee the performance of complex hematology assays such as blood counts, flow cytometry, and immunoassays, ensuring adherence to quality control protocols. Manage laboratory staff schedules, provide training, mentorship, and evaluate performance to foster a high-performing team environment. Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements through diligent documentation and quality assurance practices. Monitor laboratory workflow to optimize efficiency while maintaining accuracy in data collection and reporting. Implement and oversee quality management systems to uphold rigorous standards in assay performance and specimen handling. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless specimen collection, processing, and data management within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Skills Extensive experience with hematology techniques including

ELISA, RNA

extraction, DNA isolation, PCR, flow cytometry, and immunoassays. Strong background in clinical laboratory procedures with knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to blood sampling and venipuncture. Proven supervisory experience with leadership skills in managing laboratory teams and schedules effectively. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIMS), document management systems, and quality assurance protocols. Excellent understanding of medical terminology, laboratory techniques, and compliance standards within hospital or clinical settings. Ability to perform detailed data management, analysis skills, and maintain meticulous documentation for audits and quality control purposes. Knowledge of specimen collection/processing procedures including phlebotomy, blood sampling, vital signs monitoring, and aseptic techniques.
