  • Dental Laboratory Manager Technician
  • is responsible for both the technical and supervisory operations of the dental laboratory. This role provides hands-on leadership, technical training, and professional development for laboratory technicians while supporting the implementation of new dental laboratory products, technologies, and processes. The Dental Lab Manager works closely with the
  • Regional Manager of Laboratory Excellence
  • , ACI management, and the broader ACI Laboratory Network. The Manager also collaborates with the

  • , applying sound technical judgment and dental laboratory expertise to meet individual patient needs and deliver high-quality prosthetic restorations.
  • Essential Functions
  • + Provide expert-level technical leadership in
  • complete denture and removable prosthetic fabrication
•. + Demonstrate advanced expertise in all phases of denture fabrication, including: + Setting teeth + Denture wax-ups + Festooning + Tooth carving + Rough and fine finishing + Denture repairs + Pouring and trimming dental models + Provide hands-on technical training, coaching, and development for dental laboratory technicians. + Cross-train laboratory team members in multiple areas of dental laboratory production. + Support the implementation of new dental laboratory products, technologies, techniques, and procedures. + Maintain a strong understanding of
  • OSHA requirements and dental laboratory safety protocols
•. + Promote quality, productivity, efficiency, and consistency throughout laboratory operations. + Partner with clinical and management teams to evaluate individual cases and determine appropriate laboratory solutions. + Demonstrate strong leadership, work ethic, professionalism, positive attitude, and communication skills. + Perform additional laboratory management and technical duties as assigned.
  • Educational Requirements
  • + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Additional dental laboratory education or technical training preferred.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • + •Minimum of 10 years of hands-on dental laboratory experience•, including at least •2 years in a technical supervisory or management role•.
+ Significant professional experience fabricating dentures and removable prosthetics from start to finish. + Advanced experience with
  • complete dentures, overdentures, full-arch hybrid restorations, and implant-supported restorative techniques
  • . + Strong knowledge of dental science, anatomy, occlusion, prosthetic design, and dental esthetics. +
  • Denture and implant experience preferred
  • ; implant experience is not required. +
  • Same-day denture experience preferred
  • but not required. + Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology preferred. + Demonstrated ability to lead, train, mentor, and develop dental laboratory technicians. + Strong understanding of dental laboratory quality standards, safety procedures, and OSHA protocols.
