Responsible for maintaining and coordinating a safe, efficient, and professional work environment for the TMW Heart Center patients, physicians and staff.

Responsibilities:

Supervisory duties of the EKG department, including staff schedules. Interact with staff/patients/guests in a polite/responsive manner to ensure quality care. Make recommendations/suggestions to professional staff to optimize quality. Maintain adequate stock items providing uninterrupted patient care. Report directly to the Cardiac Imaging Manager and Cath Lab Manager. Facilitate placement of maintenance, IT and equipment work orders. Creation of daily cath lab placemat worksheets and upkeep of changes throughout the day. Reconciliation of McKesson EKG/Stress testing exams. Collection, correction, charging and retroactive authorizations for cath lab procedures. Ensure orders are correct, available and current. Reminder calls as needed.
