This is a strategic leadership role for someone who can build scalable processes, develop strong leaders, and drive profitability — while helping the organization prepare for future growth, including new branch openings. This role is best suited to a leader who has moved beyond managing individual technicians and is ready to lead through other leaders (service managers/supervisors) across a multi-site operation. Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Development Lead, coach, and develop branch-level service managers/leaders, building a strong bench of talent across locations Establish clear performance expectations, accountability structures, and development plans for the leadership team Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and customer-focused service Process & Systems Standardize and improve service processes, workflows, and systems across all branches Evaluate and optimize use of service/DMS software and reporting tools to drive consistency and visibility Build repeatable, scalable playbooks that can be deployed to new locations as the company grows Financial & Operational Performance Own aftermarket (parts and service) profitability across multiple branches Analyze branch-level performance data to identify gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities Manage labor efficiency, shop capacity, warranty processes, and service department KPIs Growth & Expansion Partner with executive leadership on planning and operational readiness for new branch openings Ensure new locations are set up with the right processes, staffing structure, and systems from day one Requirements 7+ years of progressive experience in heavy equipment or related equipment service operations Prior experience leading multiple locations or leading other managers/supervisors (not just direct technician oversight) Strong track record improving service department profitability and operational efficiency Experience with service/DMS systems and using data to drive decisions Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills Willingness to travel occasionally to branch locations Benefits Base salary: $120,000-$130,000 Performance-based bonus structure Opportunity to shape aftermarket strategy for a growing, privately held company High-visibility leadership role with a clear path tied to company expansion Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability, PTO, etc.
