$40.14 / hour - $52.99 / hour

Guarantee the thorough completion of reagent preparation, pre-qualification, and quality assurance. Carry out essential competency observations and ensure meticulous and accurate documentation. Perform preventive maintenance, quality assurance, calibrations, and equipment. Identify malfunctions in high complexity equipment and troubleshoot, as necessary. Actively participate in discussions related to process improvement and budgeting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required Must satisfy CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing required Three years of clinical laboratory testing experience to include one year of transfusion or blood banking required Two years of supervisor experience preferred Two years of reference lab experience preferred Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized certifying agency required or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required. BB or SBB preferred. State licensure (as required by regulations).

EXPERIENCE

One year of laboratory experience required. Two years supervisory experience preferred. If acting in any capacity that is regulated by a State mandating additional requirements (i.e. NYS, PA), State qualifications are required.
