- Under the oversight of the Program Compliance Manager in conjunction with the Laboratory Director, the Compliance Support Supervisor provides administrative support to ensure the consistent quality, safety, and overall compliance of the Laboratory Services Program with department and organization policies and procedures, and local/state/federal regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- + BA/BS degree from an accredited institution + 5+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting or laboratory business setting + 2+ years in a supervisory role + 2+ years of waived testing performance + ASCP MLT/MT or equivalent; or, 2+ years of KSC experience as a Laboratory Services Supervisor, or must obtain ASCP MLT/MT or equivalent within 12 months of employment + Knowledgeable of CLIA regulations and ability to summarize inspection findings for Compliance, Waived and PPM certifications + Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills + Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver organized and concise presentations tailored to audience + Proven excellent time management skills- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to efficiently manage lab operations at multiple sites + Proven effective leadership skills to include: + Proven ability to implement change in a positive, sensitive, and forward- thinking manner + Proven ability to collaborate and promote teamwork + Proven positive, can-do attitude coupled with a sense of urgency + Proven ability to develop and motivate staff + Proven ability to problem solve in a complex, multi-functional group + Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation •
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science/field of study + 2+ years of experience as a laboratory supervisor + Preceptor/Training resource Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
