Lab Supervisor/Technician Male Fertility and Peyronie's Clinic Orem, UT Job Details Full-time $25 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Laboratory experience Genetic testing Full Job Description Male Fertility and Peyronie's Clinic is looking for a Laboratory Technician Supervisor to help us serve in several roles within our companies. The candidate should have prior laboratory experience (preferably in genetics), be organized and meticulous in following protocols, and feel comfortable in a training and supervising role.
Description:
Processing semen specimen Cryopreservation of sperm Collecting and analyzing data Genetic testing Training and supervising other lab technicians Ensuring compliance with CLIA standards and certifications Communicating with other offices to help arrange shipping transportation of cryopreserved specimen Serve as the primary point of contact for lab-related questions Train all new hires on lab procedures Conduct periodic audits and/or retrainings Maintain and update SOPs as needed Ensure lab documentation, specimen tracking, and transfers are organized and up to date Proactively identify workflow gaps and implement improvements Communicate clearly with nurses, providers, and other supervisors Work closely with the surgical assistant supervisor
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a laboratory technician Prior experience with genetic testing and supervisory / training roles preferred Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • 4 weeks/year
