Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Deliver vital diagnostic services as part of a laboratory team, utilizing your expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced setting dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
Schedule:
Night shifts with rotating weekends
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field Current certification as Medical Technologist (MT/MLS or MLT) through ASCP or AMT Experience in blood banking required; heavy blood bank background highly desirable Phlebotomy experience preferred Ability to work nights and flexible with rotating weekend coverage Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and commitment to quality standards
Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of laboratory tests in accordance with quality and safety standards Carry out blood banking duties including blood typing, compatibility testing, and antibody identification Process and analyze specimens using both manual and automated techniques Accurately document and report test results to clinical staff in a timely manner Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed, ensuring specimen integrity Adhere to standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with laboratory and healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care Experience the rewards of working in a role that values your specialized knowledge and dedication.
