We provide high-complexity drug testing to treatment centers and clinical partners, with a focus on accuracy, fast turnaround, and defensible results. We're a small, hands-on team where your work has direct impact. Position Summary We're hiring a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform and report high-complexity toxicology testing. This role is open at the CLS I (journey) or CLS II (senior/lead) level depending on experience — title and compensation will be set accordingly. Key Responsibilities Perform high-complexity toxicology testing, including immunoassay screening and
LC-MS/MS
confirmation Review, interpret, and report test results in accordance with established procedures Run and document quality control; troubleshoot QC failures and instrument issues Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation Follow CLIA and CAP requirements, SOPs, and chain-of-custody protocols Maintain accurate records and support proficiency testing (CLS II) Provide technical guidance, train staff, and assist with method validation and procedure review Required Qualifications Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license issued by CDPH Laboratory Field Services Ability to perform high-complexity testing under CLIA Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and QC judgment Reliable, on-site availability Preferred Qualifications Toxicology or drug-testing experience Hands-on
LC-MS/MS
experience (e.g., SCIEX, Agilent, Waters platforms) Experience in a CAP-accredited environment (For CLS II) Prior lead, supervisory, or training experience Schedule & Location On-site in Marina del
