What they do
A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Experience Required:
Minimum one (1) year of Clinical Laboratory experience.Preferred:
Two (2) to five (5) years of Clinical Laboratory experience.Education Required:
Bachelor degree- Biological Science.
Training Required:
None required.Specialized Skills Required:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job. Proficient knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area. Strong attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations.Licensure Required:
Clinical Lab Scientist-CA (CLS); Limited Licensed CLS may be accepted in lieu of a General CLS.Preferred:
