$40 - $60 per hour Job Details - Job Details We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our dynamic team. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare delivery system, conducting laboratory tests that assist doctors in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. You will work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, where your expertise in clinical lab science will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes. This is a permanent position requiring 5+ years of experience in the field. Responsibilities As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, your responsibilities will include: 1. Performing a wide variety of laboratory tests and procedures that require independent judgment, including both routine and specialized tests. 2. Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to a rigorous quality control program. 3. Recognizing and resolving problems or errors that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results. 4. Maintaining laboratory equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and troubleshooting malfunctions. 5. Assisting in the development and validation of new test methods. 6. Participating in the evaluation of new equipment and reagents. 7. Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. 8. Training and supervising junior laboratory personnel. 9. Communicating effectively with healthcare providers to answer inquiries regarding test procedures and results. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Clinical Laboratory Scientist position should have the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field. 2. Current and valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification. 3. Minimum of five years of experience as a CLS, preferably in a hospital setting. 4. Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols. 5. Proficiency in using laboratory information systems. 6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workload. 8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 9. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 10.
