1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel Sleep Technologist (Polysomnographer) for a night shift position in a hospital-based Sleep Lab, requiring RPSGT certification and a minimum of 6 months of EEG Tech experience. Details Hospital-based Sleep Lab on the main campus, 1st floor, with 4 beds and a team of 7 staff Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 based on patient acuity Procedures include split-night studies and ASV (Adaptive Servo-Ventilation) therapy Equipment used includes Nihon Kohden Polysmith and ResMed BiPAP devices EMR system is Meditech 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience as an EEG Tech within the last 6 months RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification required Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start) At least 2 years of clinical experience in the specialty area SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required License required if applicable No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information Preferred candidates will have high-altitude experience and basic scoring skills Independent work style and strong interpersonal skills are ideal for this role Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
