- You will use automated analyzers, microscopes and other laboratory diagnostic tools to perform analyses and tests that diagnose animal illnesses, injuries and diseases in support of veterinarian animal treatment.
- You will perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal or pet biopsy samples that we receive in our lab by the thousands, every day.
- You will set up and run lab tests, then read and release results according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

- We seek an experienced Chemistry Technologist with extensive (2-3+ years) experience working with a Beckman AU5800 Chemistry Analyzer.
- We prefer a candidate who has Advanced Training in Beckman AU5800 Troubleshooting.
- Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist (MLT or MT) education and experience preferred. ASCP Certification also a plus.
- You have a positive attitude and love to bring that energy into the lab every day to support your colleagues

- You have a great sense of team spirit and responsibility
- Able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a lab - standing and sitting for extended periods of time, phone & computer use, extended reach, lifting up to 50lb, and specific vision ability - close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- This is a laboratory, so there is potential exposure to biohazards, agents known to cause zoonotic diseases, and hazardous chemicals. What you can expect from us:
- Hourly rates targeting: $37.00 / hour plus a $3.00 / hr Shift Differential

Schedule:
- The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.
- From 3-6pm, you will be working in Chemistry Production. from 6pm - 11:30pm, you will be performing Chemistry Maintenance.
- If time permits and all tasks above are complete, we will ask you to help with additional department/analyzer start-up/maintenance and possibly Sample Management data entry and/or department production.
- Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position.
