Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic medical laboratory environment and showcase your well-rounded expertise as a Medical Technologist. This contract opportunity calls for professionals with a strong generalist background to deliver high-quality laboratory testing and analysis in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Schedule:
Full-time day shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Primarily scheduled on weekends
Qualifications:
Must hold a Medical Technologist (MT) credential; Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) are not eligible Active certification with ASCP, AMT, or AAB Current Florida State laboratory license (required) College diploma or official transcripts as proof of education Minimum experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting Candidates must reside outside of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach Counties to qualify
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of laboratory tests across multiple disciplines, maintaining accuracy and adherence to detailed protocols Analyze samples and report results with precision, supporting clinicians in diagnosis and treatment decisions Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal operation for accurate test outcomes Strictly follow quality control procedures and safety standards Collaborate with peers and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless lab operations This is an 8-week contract with the potential for extension, offering a chance to thrive in a supportive, technology-driven work environment.
