Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Elevate your career as a key member of a laboratory team, providing critical diagnostic support in a Generalist Medical Technologist role. This position offers the opportunity to apply your broad expertise in a dynamic environment, where your skills will have a direct impact on patient outcomes.
Schedule:
6:00 pm to 6:00 am 36 hours per week
Assignment Duration:
24-week commitment, with potential for extension
What We're Looking For:
Current Medical Technologist (MT); Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) are not eligible Well-rounded generalist with strong experience across laboratory disciplines Valid ASCP certification (AMT or AAB credentials also accepted) Current State of Florida laboratory license required College diploma or official transcripts on file Proven ability to deliver accurate, timely results in a busy laboratory setting
Role Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of laboratory tests with precision and adherence to established protocols Analyze and interpret results to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning Ensure strict compliance with regulatory and safety standards Maintain accurate records, quality control logs, and equipment documentation Collaborate closely with fellow technologists, laboratory staff, and healthcare professionals Troubleshoot equipment, assay, and specimen issues as they arise Contribute to a positive and efficient laboratory workflow
