Job Description

Job Summary Established multispecialty medical practice is seeking a Certified Clinical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technologist/Scientist (MLS/MT) to perform moderate- to high-complexity testing in our in-house laboratory. This role is essential to supporting accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care across multiple specialties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in a fast-paced clinical environment. Must be experienced with LCMS. Responsibilities Perform and analyze moderate- and high-complexity laboratory tests (chemistry, urinalysis, and other diagnostics) Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through quality control and calibration procedures Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation Review, verify, and report test results in a timely manner Maintain compliance with
CLIA , CAP
, and OSHA regulations Document procedures, quality control, and test results in EMR/LIS systems Assist with proficiency testing and quality assurance programs Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure proper storage of reagents and supplies Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care and workflow Requirements Active certification required (MLS/MT/CLS) through ASCP , AMT, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality control Familiarity with EMR/LIS systems Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in a multispecialty or outpatient setting Familiarity with CAP accreditation and inspection processes Strong troubleshooting skills with laboratory analyzers
