A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Job Summary Performs diagnostic testing and quality control procedures, prepares reagents, and reports results in accordance with established policies and procedures. Reviews and oversees moderate to high complexity testing, maintains equipment and supplies, and monitors computer applications related to laboratory operations. Ensures accuracy and compliance in all testing activities and performs other duties as assigned. Role Overview As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I , you will perform diagnostic testing and ensure accurate, timely laboratory results to support patient care.Key responsibilities include:
Performing diagnostic testing and quality control procedures Preparing reagents and supporting laboratory operations Reviewing and overseeing moderate to high complexity testing Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring proper supply levels Monitoring laboratory systems and computer applications Ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with laboratory standards Performing other duties as assignedQualifications Education Required:
Associate's Degree in Medical Technology OR related fieldPreferred:
Bachelor's Degree in a related fieldExperience Required:
Clinical laboratory experience Minimum of four (4) months relevant experience Licensure /Certification Required:
