A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Full-Time Make an Impact Behind the Scenes Are you a laboratory professional who prefers working overnight? We're looking for a Technologist II to join a high-performing laboratory team in Douglasville, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory professional who enjoys working independently, handling complex testing, and playing an important role in supporting patient care. What You'll Do Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in immunohematology/reference laboratory operations. Review and evaluate test results for accuracy and completeness. Follow established laboratory procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Investigate and resolve testing discrepancies and unusual results. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment. Assist with quality control and quality assurance activities. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment. Support training and provide guidance to other laboratory staff as needed. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field preferred. Previous clinical laboratory experience required. Experience with immunohematology, blood bank, or transfusion services strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Ability to analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and make sound decisions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
