Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled professional to support laboratory operations by performing complex testing and analyses as a vital part of the healthcare team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and reliability in laboratory results. Multiple shifts are available, providing flexibility to accommodate varying schedules throughout the 13-week contract duration.
Responsibilities include:
Perform laboratory procedures in accordance with established protocols Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment Process and analyze specimens, interpreting results with attention to precision and quality Document findings, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records Collaborate with clinical team members to report findings and answer technical questions Troubleshoot instrument or assay problems promptly and efficiently Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge in laboratory testing and procedures
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field required Demonstrated experience working in a clinical laboratory environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards Effective communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with current laboratory instrumentation and information systems This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your medical laboratory expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting, working alongside dedicated professionals.
